Instructions for Downloading and Testing the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© Demo Version in the MT5 Strategy Tester 

Ensure you also download the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© demo version to proceed with testing the Matrix Arrow EA MT5©. A video tutorial is provided below, along with step-by-step directions. 

1. Access the Market tab within your MT5 terminal (1). Type 'matrix arrow' into the search bar (2), and you’ll find the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© and Matrix Arrow EA MT5© listed. Click on the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© (3) to proceed to its product page. 

2. Use the Download Demo button (4) of the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© to place the demo version in your Market Indicators folder. 

3. Tap the grey arrow at the top-left corner of the Market tab to go back, and now click on the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© (5). 

4. Hit the Download Demo button (6) for the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© to place the demo version of the EA into your Market Expert folder. 

5. Launch the Strategy Tester by navigating to MT5 >> View >> Strategy Tester, then locate the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© in your Market folder for testing (7). 

6. Select the testing instrument (8), determine the appropriate timeframe (9), choose the time period for the test (10), and set the account balance and leverage (11). 

7. From the Inputs tab of the Strategy Tester, right-click the Load option and load the suitable set file (12), available on the product description page and at the end of this page. 

8. Make sure to adjust the trading hours according to your broker’s server time (13), as the set files are tailored for ICMarkets Raw Spread GMT+3 accounts. If your broker’s server time is GMT+3 in the summer and GMT+2 in winter, you won’t need to make adjustments. Once set, click the Start button at the bottom right corner of the Strategy Tester to start the test (14). 

You can check your broker’s server time in the Marketwatch window. If your broker’s time is not GMT+3 (summer) or GMT+2 (winter), you will need to modify all the set files’ trading hours. For example, if your broker’s server time is GMT+0, reduce all the trading hours by 3 hours, as shown below: 

Start Hour: 12

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 22

End Minutes: 50

you need to change it to:

Start Hour: 9

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 19

End Minutes: 50

Attention!

If you want to trade the Matrix Arrow signals with your Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5©, you must purchase the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© separately! Otherwise the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© will work as a manual trade panel only.
